CAUTIONS: Do not use in cases of hyperthyroidism, pelvic inflammatory disease or menorrhagia. May potentiate or alter the effects of thyroid medications. Consult your physician. Mild GI problems have been noted in a few people. May reduce the bioavailability of blood pressure drugs diltiazem (Cardizem®) and propranolol (Inderal®), as well as the cancer drug cyclophosphamide. Do not take with acetaminophen (eg. Tylenol®). Some individuals may develop a rash, which disappears when they stop taking the supplement. May cause constipation. Take away from other medications. Do not use if pregnant or nursing.
