Cautions
Do not use in cases of hyperthyroidism, pelvic inflammatory disease or menorrhagia. May potentiate or alter the effects of thyroid medications. Consult your physician. Mild GI problems have been noted in a few people. May reduce the bioavailability of blood pressure drugs diltiazem (Cardizem®) and propranolol (Inderal®), as well as the cancer drug cyclophosphamide. Do not take with acetaminophen (eg. Tylenol®). Some individuals may develop a rash, which disappears when they stop taking the supplement. May cause constipation. Take away from other medications.
