Jarrow Formulas' Berry High?
is a completely natural low-carbohydrate combination of fruit and berry
powders rich in antioxidant flavonoids such as ellagic acid, anthocyanins
and other polyphenols. Berry High? is dried using low temperatures.
Flavonoids and other polyphenols
help protect against the oxidation of LDL cholesterol. Anthocyanins, as
found in bilberries, blueberries and blackberries, impart
bright colors to fruits and berries and are biologically important
substances known to protect vision, capillary strenght and circulation. Red
Raspberries, Strawberries, Blackberries and Cranberries contain ellagic acid
in the form of ellagitannins, which are bioavailable. Ellagic acid is a
water soluble antioxidant that promotes healthy cell development by
sheilding DNA from oxidative damage.
Mixing Direction: Mix 1 scoop (8g) of powder with 6-8oz. water, fruit
juice or your favorite beverage, or you may:
? Blend powder with liquid, ice and fruits for smoothies.
? Mix into cooked or cold cereals.
? Mix into hot tea.
