Jarrow’s Chondroitin Sulfate and Type II Collagen Complex
is naturally rich in Chondroitin sulfates and contains bovine trachea
cartilage extract that is free of hormones and solvents. Bovine trachea
cartilage is a complete mucopolysaccharide matrix consisting of
chondroitin-4-sulfate, chondroitin-6-sulfate (chondroitin A and B) and
naturally occurring Type II collagen.
Chondroitins are also called GAGs (glucosaminoglycans).
Chondroitins are the the main GAGs found in joints and connective
tissue. Type II collagen is an essential structural protein in cartilage.
Mucopolysaccharides are polyanions and attract water
resulting in enhanced hydration in joints.
Chondroitin Sulfate and Type II Collagen Complex is best
taken with glucosamines and
BioSil, the only high potency source of
orthosilicic acid.
